About fifteen years ago, I was seven years old, undergoing treatment for an aggressive osteosarcoma (rare pediatric bone cancer) and preparing for my above-knee right leg amputation. The outpour of support from friends, family and strangers led to the creation of this website, so that people could be updated on my progress.
Yet being an amputee and cancer survivor is only part of my story... I'm working on some whole new chapters. Fast forward to now: I just graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health Studies. It's been quite a journey from 2003 to 2017, but I think what lies ahead is even more exciting.
